Vidigal Wines is a small winery located in the Leiria region of Central Portugal. The origins of the company go back to the beginning of the 20th century. Throughout its history, the winery has changed several owners, and in the early 90s, Antonio Mendez Lopez, who still manages the winery, became the director of the company.

Under his leadership, a number of improvements and technical innovations were introduced, thanks to which the company currently produces about 6 million bottles per year, importing its wines throughout the world. The main winemaker of Vidigal Wines is Antonio Ventura. In 2006, Antonio was recognized as “Winemaker of the Year” in Portugal.
