Tselista Ot of a sore throat / sugar lollipops of 8.75 mg No. 12

Tselista Ot is intended to a sore throat without sugar for short-term symptomatic pain relief in a throat at adults and children of 12 years.

Structure

• active ingredient: flurbiprofen;
• 1 lollipop supports a flurbiprofen of 8.75 mg;
• other components: izomalt (E 953), maltit (E 965), the cochineal insect red And (E 124), the yellow West (E 110), potassium to atsesulfa, a macrogoal 300, orange fragrance, potassium hydroxide, left menthol.

Contraindication

• Hypersensitivity to a flurbiprofen or any of medicine excipients.
• Existence in the anamnesis of hypersensitivity reactions (for example, bronchial asthma, a bronchospasm, rhinitis, a Quincke's disease or a small tortoiseshell) after intake of acetylsalicylic acid or other NPVS.
• Recurrent peptic ulcer / bleeding in the anamnesis or in an aggravation phase (two or more episodes confirmed with characteristic clinical manifestations) and intestines ulcers.
• Gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation in the anamnesis, colitis with a heavy course, the hemorrhagic or hemopoietic frustration connected with preliminary therapy of NPVS.
• Heavy heart failure, heavy renal failure or heavy liver failure.
• Last trimester of pregnancy.

Side reactions

Were messages about reactions of hypersensitivity to NPVS which can include:

• nonspecific allergic reactions and anaphylaxis;
• reactivity of airways, for example: bronchial asthma, exacerbation of bronchial asthma, bronchospasm, short wind;
• various reactions from skin, for example: the itch, urticaria, a Quincke's disease, are more rare an exfoliative and bullous dermatosis (including an epidermal necrolysis and a multiformny erythema).

Due to the treatment of NPVS was reported about such phenomena as hypostasis, arterial hypertension and heart failure. Clinical trials and epidemiological data demonstrate that application of some NPVS (especially in high doses and long-term treatment) can be associated with a little increased risk of arterial trombotichesky complications (for example, a myocardial infarction or a stroke).

Overdose

Symptoms. Use of clinically significant quantity of NPVS made most of patients only sick, vomiting, pain in epigastric area or is more rare – diarrhea. Also there can be a sonitus, headaches and gastrointestinal bleeding. In more serious poisoning toxic damages of the central nervous system in the form of drowsiness, sometimes excitement, a disorder of vision, a disorientation or a coma are possible. Sometimes at patients spasms are observed. In a serious poisoning there can be a metabolic acidosis and increase in a prothrombin time probably through interaction with the blood-coagulation factors circulating in the blood channel. There can be OPN and injury of a liver. At patients with bronchial asthma the aggravation of a course of asthma is possible.

Treatment. Treatment has to be symptomatic and supporting and also to include ensuring passability of airways and monitoring of warm function and key indicators of activity to normalization of a condition of the patient. Oral administration of activated carbon within 1 hour after application of potentially toxic medicament dose or gastric lavage is recommended. At frequent or long spasms of muscles the treatment should be carried out by intravenous administration of diazepam or lorazepam. In bronchial asthma it is necessary to apply bronchodilators. There is no specific antidote to a flurbiprofen.

Interaction with other medicines and other types of interactions

Should avoid simultaneous application of a flurbiprofen from:

• other NPVS, including selection inhibitors of cyclooxygenase-2 (TsOG-2): it is necessary to avoid simultaneous application of two or more NPVS as it increases risk of side effects (especially side reactions from digestive tract, such as ulcers and bleedings);
• acetylsalicylic acid (in low doses).

Should be applied with care flurbiprofen in a combination with the following medicines:

• anticoagulants can enhance effect of such anticoagulants as warfarin;
• antithrombocytic means: the risk of developing of a gastrointestinal ulcer or bleeding increases;
• antihypertensive medicaments (diuretics, APF inhibitors and antagonists of angiotensin II): NPVS can reduce effect of diuretics and other antihypertensive medicaments and also increase the nephrotoxicity caused by cyclooxygenase oppression especially at patients with a renal failure is (patient);
• alcohol: increases risk of side reactions, especially bleedings in digestive tract.
