Tizin Biot nazat spray. solution of 0.1% fl. 10 ml No. 1

Tizin Biot – medicine for symptomatic simplification of congestion of a nose at the sharp cold connected with cold and flu, sinusitis, allergic and not allergic rhinitis.

Structure

• active ingredient: ksilotetazolina hydrochloride;
1 mg of a hydrochloride of xylomethazolinum contains
• 1 ml of solution;
• other components: sodium dihydrophosphate, dihydrate; sodium hydrophosphate, dihydrate; glycerin; sodium chloride; sorbite (E 420); sodium hyalrunate; water for injections.

Contraindication

Tizin® of Biot should not be applied in the following cases:

• hypersensitivity to active ingredient of xylomethazolinum of a hydrochloride or any of medicine excipients;
• dry inflammation mucous a nose with crusting (dry rhinitis);
• simultaneous treatment by inhibitors of a monoaminooxidase (MAO), treatment by MAO inhibitors within two weeks prior to use of the medicine Tizin Biot or other medicines capable to increase arterial blood pressure;
• after hypophysectomy or surgical intervention on a firm meninx;
• closed-angle glaucoma;
• sharp coronary diseases;
• coronary asthma;
• hyperthyroidism;
• atrophic or vasomotorial rhinitis.

Side reactions

from airways, bodies of a thorax and mediastinum: often – a reactive hyperemia; infrequently – after disappearance of effect the itch in a nose amplifies, swelled mucous (feeling of congestion of a nose), bleeding from a nose, sneezing, epistaxis.

from nervous system: seldom – a headache, insomnia, fatigue; very seldom – hallucinations, especially at children.

from organs of sight: very seldom – a temporary disorder of vision.

from a cardiovascular system: infrequently – system sympathomimetic effects (the accelerated heartbeat and pulse, increase in the ABP); very seldom – arrhythmia.

from a skeletal and muscular system and connective tissue: very seldom – spasms, especially at children.

from the immune system: seldom – reactions of hypersensitivity (Quincke's disease, rash, an itch).

from digestive system: often – nausea.

General frustration and reactions in the injection site of medicine: very seldom – sensation of burning or dryness of a mucous nasal cavity, a ricochet phenomenon.
