Description

"Polysorb™" - the wattled synthetic resolving suture material.

Feature

  • Suture material at production becomes covered by structure from a kopolimer of caprolactone / gpikolida and kaltsium stearoit the laktilat.
  • Material consists of Lactomer™ of a kopolimer of a gligolid/gpaktid which consists of the gligolid and lactide received from glikoliyevy and lactic acid.
  • Exclusive method of weaving and a coating system provide to
  • suture material with the following unique properties: excellent durability during critical maintenance of a wound, the excellent durability of a node, great handling properties, predictable terms of resorption.
  • "Polysorb™" does not cause inflammatory reaction in fabrics.
  • Progressing loss of durability and final resorption of suture material occur by hydrolysis when Lactomer™ breaks up to glikoliyevy and lactic acid which resolves and metabolized in an organism subsequently.
  • Conducted researches in the field of hypodermic implantation of Polysorb™suture material defined that 80% of durability remain 2 weeks and 30% remain after 3 weeks after implantation of suture material. While at the initial stage durability of Polysorb™suture material is estimated as 140% of the USP and ER standard.
  • Process of resorption begins
  • as loss of durability without loss of weight and comes to an end between the 56th and 70th days.
