Its certainly my favorite and the album of his I come back to most frequently. As others have noted, Rodgers plays all the intruments here and I do agree that hes not a master musician who really shines on any instrument (though I do like his guitar tone and some of his solos/guitar work is surprisingly tasty). But this is a plus because he simply plays what is needed to get the songs across and on this album more than any other hes done, the songs really shine, so any fancy playing would just muddle things.
