Solution "Neurodar ^® " is applied to injections at the following indications:

• stroke, sharp phase of disturbances of cerebral circulation and treatment of complications and consequences of disturbances of cerebral circulation;
• craniocereberal injury and its neurologic consequences;
• cognitive disturbances and behavior disorders owing to chronic vascular and degenerative brain disorders.

Structure

Active ingredient - citicoline (one ampoule (4 ml) supports a tsitikolin of sodium it is equivalent a tsitikolina of 1000 mg).

Excipients: water for injections, the phosphoric acid concentrated for adjustment rn.

Contraindication

• hypersensitivity to medicament components;
• raised tone of parasympathetic nervous system.

Recommended dose for adults makes

from 500 mg to 2000 mg a day depending on weight of symptoms.

Drug to appoint

for intramuscular or intravenous use.

Intravenously the medicament can be slowly injektsionno administered by

(within 3-5 minutes depending on the entered dose) or by drop infusion (speed - 40-60 drops a minute).

Maximum daily dose - 2000 mg.

Term of treatment depends on the course of the disease and is defined by the doctor.

Solution for injections is intended to

only for single use. To use medicament right after opening of an ampoule. Residues of medicament need to be destroyed. Drug it is possible to mix with all isotonic solution for intravenous administration and also with hypertonic salt solution of glucose.

Feature of use

Pregnant women

Are not present sufficient data concerning use of a tsitikolin to pregnant women. There are no data on excretion of a tsitikolin in breast milk and its actions on a fruit. Therefore during pregnancy and feeding a breast medicament is appointed only when the expected advantage for mother exceeds potential risk for a fruit.

Side effects

Side reactions arise very seldom (<1/10,000), including isolated cases.

from central and peripheral nervous systems: severe headache, vertigo, hallucinations.

from a cardiovascular system: arterial hypertension, arterial hypotension, tachycardia.

from a respiratory system: asthma.

from a digestive tract: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.

from the immune system: allergic reactions, including: rash, hyperaemia, dieback, urticaria, purpura, itching, Quincke's disease, acute anaphylaxis.

Drug should not be mixed with other medicines in one capacity. Not to apply the solvents which are not specified in the section "Route of administration".
