Lotep - a corticosteroid and antibacterial agent.

at steroid - sensitive inflammatory diseases of eyes at which corticosteroids are shown and the superficial bacterial eye infection is or there is a risk of a bacterial eye infection. In ophthalmology the corticosteroids are shown at inflammatory diseases Palpebral and bulbar conjunctivas of parts, a cornea and a lobby of a segment of an eyeball, such as: allergic konyyuktivit, a rozatsea, a superficial dot keratitis, the keratitis caused by a virus of the surrounding herpes, an iritis, a cyclitis and some infectious conjunctivitis at which risk of use of steroids insignificant in comparison with advantage of reduction of hypostasis and inflammation. They are also shown at a chronic front uveitis and damages of a cornea by corrosive, radiation and thermal burns or foreign bodys.

Contraindication

Drug Lotep, as well as others steroid anti-infectious the ophthalmologic combined medicines, is contraindicated at the majority of viral diseases of a cornea and conjunctiva, in particular at an epithelial keratitis (treelike keratitis) caused by a virus of a herpes simplex, a vaktsiniya, chicken pox and also at a mikobakterialny infection of an eye and fungus diseases of structures of an eye. The medicament Lotep is contraindicated to people with the known or suspected hypersensitivity to any ingredients of this medicine and in others of corticosteroids.

Side effects

sclera Infection, a superficial dot keratitis, increase in intraocular pressure, burnings and prickings when burying raised sensitivity with hyperaemia of a conjunctiva and an itch of an eye, the localized internal toxicity, in particular conjunctiva hyperaemia, a disorder of vision, discharges, an itch, frustration dacryagogue, a photophobia, deposits on a cornea, discomfort in eyes, diseases a century and other uncertain diseases of eyes.

can use the Drug Lotep during pregnancy in cases when the potential advantage of application exceeds potential risks for a fruit.

Children

Medicine is recommended to be applied to children aged from the birth.

Ability to influence speed of response at control of motor transport or other mechanisms

Any researches about influence of medicine on ability to drive the car or to work with mechanisms was not carried out. As well as at application of other ophthalmologic means, the temporary illegibility of sight is possible that it can affect ability of control of motor transport or other mechanisms. In that case patients should not drive the car or to use the equipment until their sight clears up.

Clinical signs and symptoms of overdose by the medicine Lotep can remind

side reactions which are observed at some patients (a dot keratitis, hyperaemia, the raised dacryagogue, hypostasis and an itch a century).
