Koliedang D3 2000 ME are a dietary additive which is applied in a food allowance as an additional source of vitamin D, at scarce states.

Vitamin D is necessary for

for normal development of a children's organism as it promotes normal absorption / assimilation of calcium and phosphorus and maintenance of normal level of calcium in blood. At the insufficient level of vitamin D in an organism only 10-15% of the calcium arriving with food are acquired. Except influence on mineral exchange, vitamin D influences a metabolism (synthesis of lipids, proteins, enzymes, hormones), regulates functions of bodies and systems (a cardiovascular system, a liver, kidneys, a pancreas, digestive tract).

Vitamin D also participates in functioning of the immune system, its insufficiency leads to increase in probability of incidence of flu and SARS. A part of a necessary dose of vitamin D is formed in the natural way in skin under the influence of sunlight and, in small amounts, comes to an organism with food. However, such replenishment is not enough, considering limited influence of sunlight (synthesis happens only in clear summer days from June to August) and a small amount of vitamin D in food.
