The coffee blend consists of high quality Arabica coffee beans from India. Malabar uses beans grown in the state of Kerala. Indian coffee is known primarily for its special preparation process, the so-called “monsuning”. Once harvested, the coffee beans are first exposed to the monsoon rains for 5 days for washing and then left to dry in the monsoon winds for 7 weeks. This preparation process gives Malabar Monsooned Indian Coffee Blend its unique taste.
