The Finsbury Distillery was founded in 1740 by Joseph Bishop in London. For over 100 years production was located in Ropmaker Street/Finsbary Street before the Bishop family built their new distillery right in the heart of the city in 1904, on Moreland Street, East London. The name Finsbury has a strong association with London. In the capital of Great Britain there are still streets, squares, parks and pubs that bear this proud name.

Finsbury London Dry Gin is the only gin that has the right to use the coat of arms of London in its logo and public relations. The original 1740 recipe has been carefully kept secret, unchanged for generations. But in 2020, the product range was supplemented with a new position - Finsbury Wild Strawberry Gin - which combined centuries-old traditions with innovative trends.
