Dezirett of the tab. of p/o of 0.075 mg No. 28

Tablets film coated Dezirett are shown for oral contraception.

Structure

Active ingredient: desogestrel;

1 tablet contains 0.075 mg of a dezogestrel;

Excipients: lactose, corn starch, povidone, α-tocopherol, silicon dioxide colloidal, silicon dioxide water, stearic acid

Cover: gipromelloza, polyethyleneglycol, titan dioxide (E 171).

Contraindication

• Hypersensitivity to active agent or to any other component of medicine.
• Active thromboembolic diseases of veins.
• Serious illness of a liver (including in the anamnesis).
• Or expected malignant hormonedependent tumors.
• Vaginal bleeding of not clear etiology.
• Allergy to soy.
• Established or expected pregnancy.

Route of administration

Tablet should be applied in that order which is specified on packing, every day approximately at the same time, if necessary washing down with a small amount of liquid. Every day it is necessary to apply on one tablet within 28 days. The following packing is begun right after use of the previous packing.

does not influence or causes very insignificant influence on ability to drive the car and to work with mechanisms.

Overdose

did not report about serious also harmful effects as a result of overdose. Symptoms which can arise nausea, vomiting young girls have an insignificant vaginal bleeding. Antidote is absent, further treatment has to be symptomatic.

Side effects

In clinical trials of the medicine Dezirett side effects (> 2.5%): violation of periods, acne, change of mood, mammary gland pain, nausea and increase in body weight. According to classification of MedDRA, are shown side effects and frequency (infrequently, seldom, it is very rare) which, connected with use of medicine.

Interaction between hormonal contraceptives and other medicaments can lead

to developing of breakthrough bleeding and/or violation of contraceptive protection. It was generally reported about interaction with the combined contraceptives, but sometimes it was reported also about the contraceptives containing only progestogen.
