Pharmacological properties

Synthetic antimicrobial medicine of group of ftorkhinolon. it is active concerning a wide range of microorganisms. has bactericidal effect on many species of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, including streptococci, pneumococci, meningokokk, gonokokk, colibacillus, shigellas and salmonellas.

Indication

Infection of respiratory, urinogenital and biliary tract, ENT organs, infectious and inflammatory diseases of an abdominal cavity and small pelvis, bones, joints, skin, sepsis, prevention and treatment of infections at patients with immunodeficiency.

Use

In 1–2 times a day. the single dose makes 0.5-1 g; daily — 1–2 g a course of treatment — 5–15 days.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to derivatives of a hinolon, epilepsy, the period of pregnancy and feeding by a breast, age up to 15 years.

Side effects

nausea, an abdominal pain, diarrhea (seldom), allergic reactions, changes of composition of peripheral blood.
