Oxford fabric (eng. Oxford) – is made on the basis of polyester or nylon threads. This is a synthetic fabric that has a number of advantages that make it possible to produce chair bags, tourist clothing, equipment, covers, and awnings from it. The peculiarity of the weave of Oxford fabric threads is matting, in which the main threads form squares arranged in a checkerboard pattern. Due to this weave and strong unnatural fibers of polyester and nylon, the material is very durable. It is used in sewing frameless furniture, camouflage clothing, tourist items (jackets, pants, backpacks, caps, etc.), shoes, tents, covers, awnings, canopies.
