"The Fifth" (Russian. "Fifth") — the fifth studio album German disco group Bad Boys Blue, left on October 12, 1989. Alby the record label of Coconut Records and the famous West German producer Tony Hendrik together with Karin Hartmann is produced by the owner independent in Germany. Tony Hendrik and Karin Hartmann worked with group from the very beginning, and are actually creators of Bad Boys Blue. Gruppa appeared in new structure: John McInerney, Trevor Bannister and Andrew Thomas. "The Fifth" is an album in which the leading vocal completely belongs to John McInerney. Also the album contains two hits of group — "A Train To Nowhere" and "Lady In Black". The composition of "Show Me The Way" supports rap parties performed by Andrew Thomas. These songs had high radio - and television rotation.
Album "The Fifth" made also great success and took high places in charts, in particular: 2 — in Finland, than surpassed result of all previous albums Bad Boys Blue. Poe to sales volumes of "The Fifth" received the gold status in Finland in 1990.
